Plant Material Guarantee We guarantee all plant material to be of the best quality obtainable. Our plant material is guaranteed for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation. If any plants die within that one (1) year period, they will be replaced at no additional cost to the owner for labor or materials. Hughes Landscaping, Inc. shall be responsible for a one-time replacement only. Replacement materials do not have a guarantee. If the plants to be replaced are not available, we reserve the right to substitute with comparable material. All plant materials must be paid for in full for this guarantee to be valid. We do not guarantee the following:
Plant material damaged as a result of neglect or abuse (this includes improper watering) Plant material damaged by vandalism, fire or theft. Dead or dying material removed by the client before inspection by Hughes Landscaping Existing plant material transplanted on site Plant material supplied by the client or a supplier other than Hughes Landscaping Construction Guarantee All landscape construction (retaining walls, patios, walks, drainage improvements, etc) shall be guaranteed not to settle, crack or fail its intended purpose for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation. If any structure does fail its intended purpose, settle, crack, etc within that one (1) year period, Hughes Landscaping should be contacted immediately. An inspection of the structure will then be scheduled with the owner and a Hughes representative to determine the amount of damage and the necessary steps to correct the problem. When applicable any labor or material used to correct the problem shall be at no cost to the owner. All landscape services must be paid in full for this guarantee to be valid. Deposit / Payment Terms Prior to the scheduling and commencement of any work, a one third (1/3) deposit must be remitted for any job over $1000.00. Net due at job completion. A two percent (2%) service charge will be added to any balance overdue more than thirty 30 days and will accrue monthly to a 24% Annual Percentage Rate. Furthermore any discounts that were included will then become void and added back into the customer’s bill. Any legal and/or collection fees associated with this account will become the client’s responsibility. You the client, agree to these terms with the acceptance of this estimate. We accept checks, money orders and all major credit cards for deposits. |
